The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York held its third youth instrumental concerto competition finals round on February 7, 2010 . The six finalists performed.  They were:

 (l to r) Kevin Yu - violin; Anthony Limoncelli - trumpet; Justin Park - 'cello; Richard Liverano - trombone  Angela Wee - violin;  and Ashley Thakur - violin.

The Awards went to:

Angela Wee - First Prize

Justin Park - Second Prize

Ashley Thakur - Third Prize

Richard Liverano - Honorable Mention
