LINCOLN CENTER CONCERTS HUGE SUCCESS

The June 11, 2011 concerts at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center,  were a huge success by all measures.  Musically, the ensembles performed brilliantly and wowed the audiences to several standing ovations!
The 2 PM concert featured Nick Page's Comic Book Opera, composed for the MYO Children's Choirs, which brought down the house!  The String and Concert Orchestras were amazing in their handling of very difficult music.
The 7 PM concert featured the Chamber Orchestra, the Suffolk Principal Orchestra playing the Saint-Saens "Organ" Symphony, and the Nassau Principal Orchestra, performing Mahler's 2nd Symphony.  There were enough goose bumps to go around!
