MYO TO PREMIERE NEW MAJOR WORK IN JUNE

Composer Gerald Custer, well known for his many choral compositions, has recently completed his newest work, commissioned by MYO, entitled "Everything Indicates." The work, based on the texts of Long Island poet, Walt Whitman, is scored for orchestra, chorus, childrens chorus, soprano and tenor soloists. The piece will receive its world premiere at Carnegie Hall on June 5, 2010, conducted by Scott Stickley.
