At the November 22 MYO Concert at Adelphi University,  Jeff James of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame presented the first LIMHoF Scholarship to trumpeter Anthony Limoncelli, a senior at New Hyde Park Memorial High School.

The criteria for the award is that the recipient should have a history with MYO of more than two years, be a member of one of the top ensembles, have a perfect or near perfect attendance record, and be an outstanding musician and leader.
