Budapest, Hungary
104 F.  Sunny & Hot!

Record breaking temperatures in Budapest.  We started early this morning with a visit to the Holocaust Museum and the Central Synagogue with Irving Roth.  He led us through the exhibits at both locations.

After lunch the Choristers performed at a small memorial park near the Danube River.  It was too hot to have the orchestra play, with no chairs or a nearby location to unload the instruments.  Dinner was at a Hungarian restaurant with a band of gypsy musicians.  They were fantastic!  Several parents were in town tonight and joined us at dinner or stopped by to say hi.

Tomorrow on to Zakopane, Poland where the temperature will be a little more agreeable (we hope)!
