CHAMBER ORCHESTRA GETS A NAME CHANGE

The MYO Chamber Orchestra, founded in 2004 under the direction of Patricia Koppeis, is officially changing its name to the MYO Symphony Orchestra.  The ensemble has grown so large, with a full compliment of winds, brass and percussion, that it is no longer a "chamber orchestra" and is, indeed, a full symphonic orchestra.  The group is open to level 6 NYSSMA musicians who are in their early high school years and is designed to be the final stepping stone toward membership in the Nassau Principal Orchestra.  For current openings, visit the Auditions Page.
