The String Orchestra, led by Victoria Alaimo,  is open to string players who have successfully completed a NYSSMA solo on Level 4 or higher. Music is chosen to match the technical level of the group and includes a mixture of original music and arrangements of standard orchestral repertoire. The String Orchestra members generally range in age between late elementary and early high school.
