002Veronica Mak was part of the Nassau Youth Chorale for her first three years in MYO, and then the inaugural Nassau Chamber Chorale her senior year. She is currently a Voice Performance undergraduate at Manhattan School of Music studying with Joan Caplan. Since her time with MYO, she has sung major choral works with Manhattan School of Music’s Chamber Choir at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall, The Kennedy Center, and National Sawdust. These past two summers, she has attended NYU’s Steinhardt Voice Intensive program and the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. In 2016, Ms. Mak performed in the Chorus of Mozart’s Die Entführung dem Serail, Berlioz’s Lélio, and Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice. She made her opera debut role as L’enfant in L’enfant et les sortilèges with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival in July 2016.
