Gregory Krajci | MYO Coach

Gregory Krajci begins the 2018-2019 academic year as the director of orchestras at W. Tresper Clarke High School. Prior to joining the East Meadow faculty, Mr. Krajci was the orchestra teacher at H. Frank Carey High School in Franklin Square, where his orchestras received consistent Gold ratings at the NYSSMA Majors Festival.

Mr. Krajci is the Division V Vice-President of the Nassau Music Educators Association, after serving as Division V Orchestra Chairperson for four years. As a violinist, Mr. Krajci is an active performer with the South Shore Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of Northern New York. He is a NYSSMA string adjudicator and guest conductor and coach for the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. Mr. Krajci maintains a private studio deeply rooted in the Suzuki style.

Mr. Krajci graduated summa cum laude from the Crane School of Music (BM) and Shenandoah Conservatory (MM) with degrees in Music Education and has completed long-term Suzuki training at the Hartt Suzuki Institute.

In addition to music, Mr. Krajci is a trained dancer and actor. He has directed and choreographed high school theatre productions for which his students have received recognitions for acting and creative media.
