Noreen PrunierNoreen Prunier played viola with the Nassau Principal Orchestra (Class of 2013) and is now a Nashville based singer/songwriter. Performing since the age of four for anyone willing to listen, she always knew that a music career was in her future. Originally from Nassau County, New York, Noreen moved to Nashville, TN in the fall of 2013 to start school at Belmont University and to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter. As a student at Belmont, her new songs have built a following of fans, as well as sparked interest in Nashville publishers leading to collaboration with award-winning songwriters. Most recently featured as a New and Notable artist on Noisetrade, Noreen’s latest compilation was downloaded over 630 times. Her latest single “Scary as Hell” speaks of a lost love and the empty promises left with it, and has opened opportunities to work with multi-Grammy award winning country artist Alison Krauss. Her incisive lyrics, powerful voice, and captivating stage presence set her apart from the sea of singer-songwriters hoping to break into country music.
