It is such a humbling experience to work with some of the best young vocalists on Long Island. Watching the faces of my students as they come in to rehearsal and we begin is priceless. Watching them listen to new repertoire and get excited to rehearse is such a gratifying feeling. The best part about being a MYO conductor however, is that feeling we all get when the magic happens…when everyone just ‘gets’ it. That’s why people keep coming back, for the journey and for the musical experience. I look forward to many more years of music making with the MYO Nassau Chamber Chorale.
