Spain Tour Preparation!

Day One – Madrid
After a long overnight flight to Madrid, the tour orchestra, choir, chaperones and shadow tour participants boarded two coach buses for a panoramic tour of the city.

The MYO tour musicians and singers started off the day with a morning rehearsal at the Centro Cultural Sanchinarro. A group of Spanish children were in the same building for a camp, and they were serenaded by the choir as they rehearsed their concert repertoire.

Brian Johnston, Trombone
Brian Johnston is an alumnus of The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York (Suffolk Principal Orchestra, 2010-2011).
